Ashish Shaitaan, an investigative journalist from Gabbarpost, who tried to do a sting operation on PM Narendra Modi at his BJP office was caught red-handed, as the latter automatically figured out where his hidden camera was even before their conversation began.
“I have not been more embarrassed in my life. I’ve done many sting operations by putting on various embarrassing disguises, but they didn’t matter much once the operations became successful. But in this case, what was more embarrassing was being called out miserably even before the conversation began,” Shaitaan told The UnReal Times.
Taking us through the intended sting operation, Shaitaan said, “Stinging the PM at the PMO was out of question, so when the PM visited the BJP HQ to discuss about the Bihar elections, I disguised myself as a BJP Bihar volunteer and told the PM that I had some very important secret to share with him about Nitish. I then began a conversation about communalism and hoped that he would say something about riots, creating a communal divide, turning people against one another etc etc. I thought the PM was keenly listening to whatever I was saying, but only then I spotted him staring keenly at my shirt pocket. When I then looked towards my pen which was in it, the PM smiled and waved at the pen. As I took the pen out and held it in the air, the PM’s eyes followed the pen. The game was over. The PM had spotted the camera on the pen’s cap.”
“I immediately put the pen back in my pocket and begged his forgiveness with folded hands, but he pushed my hands away, his eyes firmly fixed on the pen, he said it’s okay and asked me to leave. As I left the place, he continued staring at the pen. It was scary!” Shaitaan added.
Meanwhile, British Prime Minister David Cameron has taken note of his Indian counterpart’s unique ability and has strictly instructed British Secret Intelligence Service MI6 to remove existing cameras in his office when the PM visits. “We’ll be made to look like bloody arses if he begins to stare and wave at all our secret cameras. People will start believing that the standard of MI6 is like what is shown in Rowan Atkinson’s Johnny English movies,” Cameron apparently told the service.
